Sweet Charity

Skyline
- The skyline was a 25' drop that was first starched and primed white
- A design was given with measurements for each building
- The drop was gridded and points plotted for each building
- We connected the dots to create an outline of each building
- Each building was painted in their respective color with very watered down paint
- Anything that was left white was painted blue for the sky
- The buildings were outlined in a light beige
- The same beige color was used with a sponge to create a grunge texture across the drop
Garage Door
- Primed in a green
- Projected the design given to me by the Charge Artist onto the door and traced it with chalk
- Painted with a color palette pre-chosen for me, making sure the same colors were not touching
- Once it was all painted, a thick Sharpie was used to trace everything
- Went over the entire door with brown paint on a sponge to create the same grunge texture that was on the skyline drop
